5-star RB Soso Jamabo responds to reports
Haven't answered to reporters in weeks but they still have stories on me...Funny how that works

This is what Plano West running back Soso Jamabo had to say after reports that he's no longer considering Texas emerged on Monday. He's not exactly denying them, but it seems fair to say that he's suggesting no one really knows where he's going. In any case, this is, at the least, mildly positive new for the Horns.

So much for ITT Tech and the University of Phoenix, as the five-star running back will pick between Texas and UCLA on Wednesday. Even after missing on his friend Kyler Murray late last week, a source close to the team told Burnt Orange Nation that Jamabo was still locked in to becoming a Longhorn.

The nation's No. 16 wide receiver is back on the market after taking official visits to UCLA, Cal, and TCU in addition to his trip to Texas Tech, leaving him one official visit remaining. Texas is considered one of the schools in the mix to receive that last visit. However, the 247Sports Crystal Ball for Strickland stands at 55% for the Bruins.

The dynamic wide receiver/return man will announce between his three finalists Tennessee, Texas, and UCLA on January 23. Ranked as the No. 34 player in the state of Texas, Newsome is considered a Texas lean, as the Longhorns hold 80% of the predictions in his 247Sports Crystal Ball.

Texas remains in the mix for Baton Rouge prospect Dylan Moses, who committed to LSU in September of 2013, but has continued to take other visits. Last summer he made his way to Austin for a camp.
