Should get points for stopping takedowns, seeing how that is a actual art too.

Also I don’t see just moving forward as a way for controlling the fight, specially when there is little to no offense involved.

Interesting to see Reyes did indeed win the first 3 rounds. Not to mention one of the rounds could have been scored a 10 8 in Reyes favor for a knock down.

I think a rule of 1 minute ground control should be applied. Wrestlers are my favorite fighters but you should never get points for just taking down someone, specially when they get right back up. If the person gets right back up, you could argue that’s a point for getting right back up and points for defending. That is a art as well.

But the stakes are higher now, the game is advanced. Fighters now are judged in a different light. Not to mention Jones size plays a big part in this, no pun intended.

I don’t think there is anything Jones can do at this point to change people minds. It’s something Jones should have thought about before he cheated.
