" Starting at point guard 5 foot 10 Jamale Franklin" was the announcement that got me through highschool. It was my first taste of organized basketball and catalyst for my addiction. Living in Fort Pierce Florida, it wasn’t much around but trouble if not sports so basketball became my life. Problem was everybody was my height, putting me at a disadvantage when coming to University of South Florida stepping on the court surrounded by 6 foot 5 and up. That ended my childhood dream of going pro and restricted me to recreational activity only. I still find myself obsessed with the sport, exercising in anythang pertaining to she sport from spectating to video games and im extremly skilled in NBA 2k so if anybody in the vicinity feels up to par brang your 'A" game and your bank card. JF My name is Malonedeek and the blogs that I will be posting will be geared towards the basketball community. I have played basketball for 16 years and I feel that my opinion concerning the NBA can be extremely valuable. This blog will be argument based and will discuss many topics such as the best players, teams and coaches. I started my quest to become the best basketball player in the world on the Orlando dream team. I was approximately three years old. Later I went on to play for the Orlando Wizards, in which we won the State Championshsip title. Unfortunately, my dream to be in the NBA deminshed in highschool when I learned that it took hard work to reach that point. I was so used to hearing coaches say "We are here to have fun". In highschool it was the total opposite and I shortly gave up on my basketball dream. I also gave up on it because I didn't reach my ideal height of 6'9. Currently, I attend the University of South Florida, and majoring in Accounting. GO BULLSSSS!!! DC
