Brook and Robin are very efficient at posting up and it’s a good way to mix up looks. However, the Bucks’ offense is primarily built upon spacing and pace. Post-ups are the opposite of that and they’d risk clogging down the rest of their offense by regularly sending a guy to the post.
In short, the reason I keyed in on shot creation is that it flows naturally with the rest of the Bucks’ offense. It can is also more efficient (typically) and can create for others as well. Lastly, shot-creators don’t have to rely on others to get them the ball. We’ve seen it become a deterrent in the past when big men are overly reliant on others to get the ball in their spots on the floor. Usually, guards aren’t patient enough to continuously feed a big man on the block.
