Didn’t find this too shocking since Kepler has always been a .230s guy and is a bit lower this year
And has the power and walks to barely survive. Whereas Sano basically ended up developing into Adam Dunn and gets hate because he could be more based on 2015, 17, and 19. With building a competitive pitching staff for 2021 looking impossible turning it into a retool, those 2 now get the 2022 role of prospect placeholders unless they play like their 2019 selves, which I think Sano is capable of but not sure with Kepler. On the bright side, Polanco could’ve easily found himself with these 2 but rose far above that.
