Swift may be only of these available when we pick. You don’t pick for need in 1st round, you go with who will change the game for your team. Ridley prime example. Everytime we pick for need we strike out, ie. Beasley, Takk, Neal.

Although the one we have is not that much better. Mack has at least two years left. Remember offense when we didn’t have Mack. Draft Cushenberry in 2nd May have to move up. He can play guard while learning from Mack. Restructure Mack over 3 years! We will be crazy to let Mack go! TD stated Mack and Matthews were only lineman safe last year. They have done nothing to jeopardize that safety.

Help me understand. Initially it was reported we only had $3 mil in cap space for 2020, then it’s reported Ryan and Jarrett restructured to save another $12 mil. $3 + $12 = $15, how did we get to only $5 mil in cap space or did I misunderstand initial report? Where did the other $10 mil go? Was it Julio’s contract?

Only picked up one FA Fowler. I like Fowler but we also need to resign Clayborn and Wreh-Wilson. You will be relying on rookies very heavily to fill holes and for depth. No to Hooper and Campbell let them walk, especially Campbell. I like Campbell but I think he and Debo should switch positions. He is bigger and stronger and can take on blocks better. If they are going to move him to MLB, i’m for keeping him but as WLB he is terrible. I would also move him to edge to replace Beasley, he seems to be a good pass rusher from what I saw.

That’s why we went 7-9.

Man, we need a GM guru who can find cap space. Wouldn’t it be great to sign Fowler and trade for Von Miller. A man can dream can’t he?!! No negative responses! Just close your eyes and imagine something like this finally happening for us in free agency. I think we deserve this, don’t you all!!!!

Debo was pushed around like rag doll on running plays. Debo will replace Campbell at OLB and draft pick will replace him at MLB.

Time to put Debo where he belongs at will. We need someone who can cover but also has size to take on blockers for MLB.

Rookie lineman are not he answer we need now. Look at all the lineman taken last year. Except for Bosa, all did not have impact on game in their rookie seasons. We need to address d-line in Free Agency! (Please) This draft is full of DT and DE can be taken in later rounds. We need to get a big, fast, hard hitting LB in 1st round. I hope we can get Simmons, he will be a game changer for any defense. If not him, then Kenneth Murray. LB are few in this draft.

The guys has hands like bricks but he is always near the receiver and ball. QB has to be quite accurate when throwing in his direction, and he almost never gets burned on long ball. He needs to get better at covering slants but what corner doesn’t. Keep him on team this year, will need his veteran leadership and he is a top 10 corner in this league. What do you guys want in a corner? This guy gets the job done, if he could catch think of how many interceptions he would have and we wouldn’t even be having this debate. Keep him better yet extend contract and make more cap space for next 2 years. Give bunch of money in signing bonus, do same for Neal and Mack!

But trust me,we understand more than you think! LOL

Make it happen the players above will certainly fix a lot of holes on both lines with good proven talent and marginal cost. Quinn and Thuney may cost a bit more but will be worth it.

Where are we in cap space? Heard we got additional 12mil from Ryan and Jarrett, so that has us at 17mil? I was able to get additional 17.8mil by doing the following.
Release Sambrailo – $3,750,000
Release Freeman – $3,500,000
Extend Mack – $4,000,000 extend Mack another year or two and save 4.0 mil on this year.
Extend Neal – $4,000,000 extend 2 yr, he may not go for it but he needs to prove he can come back from injury.
Release Stocker – $2,600,000
Sign in FA: Vernon Butler DT, Maliek Collins DT, Carl Nassib DE, Joe Thuney LG, Hunter Henry TE, Ted Karras C, Adrian Clayborn DE, Wreh-Wilson CB, Robert Quinn DE.

Trust me offense will be fine without him. Defense is the issue and we have a lot of holes to fill. Debo needs to be moved from ILB he has proven to small. He is excellent in coverage but terrible in assisting in the run. We need to shore up D-Line, Strong Safety, linebackers and maybe CB if Tru isn’t healthy. We may have to concentrate FA and entire draft to defense. All because of need and cap space. Hooper is gone, get over it, we’ll be fine with Matt, Julio, Ridley, Ito, Graham. They will score points!

Yes to Robert Quinn or Shaq Barrett. Would love for falcons to sign Quinn and Thuney in FA. Would immediately solve our DE and RG issue. Draft

Pete Carroll is the defensive guru! Not Quinn! But we now have someone who can make defense top ten if Quinn gets OT of his way and TD allows him to have say in defensive players drafted! Raheem Morris, a Tony Dungy disciple! Also Ulbrich, I feel he is another young talent that everyone, except Falcons organization, can see his potential! We will lose both after this year. Quinn will again get the credit for our good season and remain head coach and Raheem will get HC somewhere and make Ulbrich his DC. 2016 all over again minus SB only playoff bid this time.

We have four RB’s and six OG’s. Why does everyone think we need to draft these positions. Our offense scored points, we need to get this defense right. Offense needs to be tweaked but injuries played a factor in sub par performances. Coaches need to do better job conditioning and motivating players. I would say draft a OG/C but only offensive position I would draft.
