As of today. two seed gets Wisconsin for a best of three. If they win that, unless the B1G reseeds, looking at the Minnesota ND winner.

so I haven’t followed the Jones news closely. I thought he was out with the flu. Is that true or is there a physical injury involved. Thx.

PSU could end up in a two, three, or four way tie. I think we lose a head to head with ND, but not sure when there are more than two teams involved. I am guessing it starts with conference wins. That would mean PSU v OSU. PSU won the season series with OSU, so I think PSU can’t lose a tiebreaker. Actually, I think we win a tie with ND because of more conference wins being the first criteria.

If I was betting, I think i’d bet on Michigan winning the conference tournament.

Kept saying concussion like symptoms then it turned out to be something else entirely. Not relating the two, as I’m sure the medical staff is on top of these things, just coincidence.

To miss, PSU would have needed to be swept by Minny. Then lose two in a row to Wisconsin in the tournament. Plus a whole lot more games to fall in line. Still, it’s nice to see it official.

They are playing great hockey, lately. Minnesota has improved since the beginning of the season but not like TTUN.

Michigan @ MSU / MSU @ Michigan – Michigan can seriously dent MSU title hopes but a split is most likely.
Minnesota @ ND – A split here is almost a must for PSU.

Feb 21 – 22
ND @ Michigan – Again, Michigan can pave the PSU road. Leave it to them to lay down the last six games.
OSU @ MSU – Split is great if PSU keeps on winning.

Feb 28 – 29
Wisconsin @ OSU – OSU probably sweeps a Badger team trying to get away from their soon to be fired head coach.
MSU @ ND – Another split needed. No one to get 6 points in a weekend, except PSU. Would be an exciting game if both needed three and it went to OT.
Michigan @ Minnesota – By this point, I expect both of these teams to be also-rans but as i mentioned above, leave it Michigan to turtle up and lose six in a row to screw Penn State!

They try to keep teams from traveling too far but as a bottom four seed, you could go anywhere in the interest of competitive balance, I think.

PSU with 98% chance of making the tournament. 70% as at-large bid. Would make them, probably a 2 seed, hopefully in Allentown. Maybe a 3 seed if they falter down the stretch.

underclassmen could have bailed on PSU as well but they believed as well.

Probably need to sweep the final four games to have a hope for the conference title and the #1 seed. Seeing how long it’s taking for them to get going again, i might be in the camp that thinks all that time off before the B1G tournament might be a bad thing.

There is a town between me and Madison, WI that is notorious for policing their town speed limit. They even sell tee shirts proclaiming their ticketing prowess. Rosendale, WI. 2011-2015, they wrote six times more speeding tickets than Fon du Lac, a town with 40,000 more residents. (Rosendale has 1,000 residents) 1% of the population of Green Bay and 1000 more tickets.
