Carlos Santana was certainly disappointing
I loved the signing at the time, and he started the season hot, but he slowed down in the summer and his production absolutely fell off a cliff during the last two months. He could still work his walks, but it seemed obvious the bat speed just wasn’t there anymore. On July 23 and 24, he homered against Detroit. From July 25 onward, he homered just twice while hitting .173/.255/.222, for a dismal 34 wRC+. I don’t think he’s a viable big league starter anymore, and I’m not sure he’s even worth the roster spot as a bench bat.

I'm hoping for a Tampa-Milwaukee WS
These are the only teams in this postseason that haven’t won a title, so it’d be a first either way. Each team’s shortstop, Willy Adames and Wander Franco, are awesome and exciting young players. We could get a much anticipated pitching duel of Corbin Burnes vs. Collin McHugh opener followed by six relievers that throw 98 with movement. Plus, this would be the Rob Manfred’s Worst Nightmare matchup.
That said, I am bracing myself for Yankees-Dodgers or Red Sox-Cardinals, which would be much more agreeable for ol’ Bobby Man.

The Royals won 107 games and shattered their preseason projection by 32 wins six years ago? Man all the alcohol must really be damaging my memory.

He should have been traded by now
It would be cool to see Whit swiping bags in the postseason. Regardless, I wouldn’t be shocked if he’s the everyday right fielder next year and still hitting leadoff.

Just about every city in this country
Has major problems with accessibility outside of cars, whether that’s walking, biking, or even public transit. It’s ridiculous and so many people have just accepted being fully dependent on cars.
