Dontay Moch (born July 19, 1988) is an American college football player. He played for the Wolf Pack at the University of Nevada, Reno. During his career at Nevada, Dontay accumulated 30 sacks and 63 tackles-for-loss (6th highest in NCAA history). Dontay, 6'1" and 245 pounds, in known for his freakish speed. At junior pro day, NFL scouts hand clocked him at sub 4.2 the first two times he ran the 40-yard dash. Scouts, not believing the times, asked Dontay to run it again. On his third consecutive 40, Dontay recorded 4.23. "He has freakish talent," Nevada defensive coordinator Andy Buh said. "When he puts his mind to it, he's unstoppable." Dontay was born in Phoenix, AZ to mother Rakell Wesley. He is the second oldest of five children—including older brother Mekell, younger sisters Brittany and Monesha, and younger brother Tyree. Dontay attended Hamilton High School in Chandler, where he played on two state championship football teams and was named first-team all-state. Additionally, Dontay was a two-time state champion in the 100-meter dash and state champion in the 200-meter dash.
