Dr. Strom has been a Suns fan since 1952, when he developed an erratic time machine that took him forward to the '76 NBA finals, only to watch the lyin' cheatin' Refs in Boston Garden give the Celtics the title. He got so angry at such egregious bullshit

Slightly tangent to this
I think it was Bill Russell that was the best at blocks (not necessarily by the numbers, but by the technique). Blocking a shot into the fifth row looks cool and ends that specific shot attempt, but the other team still retains possession. The real key is to block it and keep the ball in the field of play where one of your guys can grab it.
I think it was Russell that did that, but…yeah. That’s how one can make shot blocking more valuable.

I should add that I think he was cut by the Knicks because he just didn’t seem to mesh with their style of play, not because of a drop in his game.

Payton as starting PG, not so great…but as a third string PG on a cheap contract, I definitely like

I am pretty damn certain the Fakers are going to implode
As we saw in Cleveland, and this year in Brooklyn, Kyrie can be just as dangerous when he plays as the SG. In the Cleveland days, it allowed for LeBron to play some at the point.
I like Westbrook’s motor, but the Fakers completely shit the bed by choosing him over, well, almost any other PG. Westbrook’s main skills are rebounding (which the Fakers don’t need from the guard position), driving, and passing. He requires the ball— he can’t play off ball because HE CAN’T SHOOT. This practically eliminates the advantage LeBron brings to the table with his ball handling skills, and will kill the Fakers in the 4th quarter as they play off Westbrook and dare him to shoot, while the D can rotate to other threats.
That’s not to say the Fakers can’t be a threat, but I am saying I think their backcourt on paper is going to be totally different than in play.

E$PN+ carries Canadian Football
… which I enjoy, but it doesn’t make up for Stephen A. and his screaming while enunciating every syllable like a pathetic imitation of Howard Cosell
