People have their preferences
Take your pick Braun, Weaver, Okwara, Lewis, Usche…..all worthy of 2nd round status.

OT/Edge
OT in Round 1 and Edge in Round 2 is fairly easy to get in mocks.

Brown?.....That shouldn't be a shocker
I think more of a shocker would be the Lions and Redskins both draft QBs.

Versatility
There are a number of options in this draft for versatility and defensive confusion. Kyle Dugger looks to be a better tackler than Simmons and can be a slot/S/LB hybrid player as well that paired with Peppers can also cause defensive confusion.

2nd Round
The 2nd Round is an interesting trade back situation as the next wave of QBs will potentially go off the board. Chicago doesn’t have a 1st Round pick (two 2nd Rounders) and may want a Jake Fromm or Jalen Hurts.

Agreed...doubt that happens but a good dream to enjoy for now!

Hard to like this without OT
There is a narrative out there that this OT class is deep and we can always wait. This is FALSE Dwight!
The quantity is there but there is a definite dropoff in talent after the first 10 or after the Giants 2nd pick. If anybody sits and waits for the later 3rd Round for that OT they will be seriously disappointed in the options unless development is the purpose.

People get bored when one guy is alone at the top
It’s easy to tear somebody down and nitpick. The traits haven’t changed and so doesn’t prognostication. The hot take in the next couple months will be the flaws of Joe Borrow.

Taylor is my choice here...
As stated in the article, Darrell Taylor has potential to be drafted before Round 4. He is much better than the others listed.
However I don’t want late round Edges unless we double dip into the Edge position. Round 2 Edge! Then come back late with higher productive upside such as Alex Highsmith.
This group is nothing really to get excited about….

Some may view Becton as much more of a risk than Simmons

Mocks are Mocks.....
To find anything close to what they view as a realistic prediction, you’d have to know every team inside and out. You’d also have to systematically predict the nature and tendencies for each of these teams. Then there is the certain trade that we may or may not of seen coming.
I can appreciate the discussion point for the mocks and can at the same time despise the typical "there is no way it can happen that way" post. Get over it and enjoy the process and use these mocks to pass time … let your mind wonder.

Harrison Bryant
Shows some possible signs as an all around TE. He did some great blocks during Senior Bowl. I’m not looking for these tall slot TEs like Engram if we decide to move from him. I’d rather have the Joe Judge motto of versatility and try and find the two way TE that is similar to Greg Olsen.

I think I'd change a few things.....
Hamler is a hard "no." I’ll use round 3 on other areas. Hamler is a smallish receiver that doesn’t appeal at this time.
Jordan Fuller is over drafted at this point.
Jack Driscoll is nice but not if you’ve already signed Conklin. I’d be looking OT with that 3rd rounder.
With that said….I love Runyan later in the draft like this. He’s has OT experience, been playing at Guard through the post collegiate process and has been reported to doing some work at Center as well.

Depending how FA goes...
Round 1 possible trade back which allows us to re-obtain an early Round 3 enables a situation of Wills/Peart or a number of other double dip draft combinations. A young guy to sit behind Solder for 8-10 games with intentions to start in 2021 isn’t a bad thing.

Deep ball threat
He does have deep ball potential and can be also moved inside and outside much like Tate. Don’t know if this would be setting up a Tate exit. In the end…..I hope this is driving up the price for the Eagles.
