I agree that wilder wasn’t all there from the knockdown through the 6th
But the 7th round is when you seen him for the first time actually look like he had his legs under him, and he was throwing back punches… he was getting his second wind and we don’t know what the second half would have brought. At the end of the day he was a 42-0-1 champion who perseveres before, and we don’t know if he could have done it again… if the fight got stopped in the 5th or 6th, it was much more easily defendable then stopping it when they did… granted, fury was winning by a landslide, but we just don’t know what could have happened. I think that what got Wilder más the most, he went from survival mode for 4.5 rounds, and who knows how close he was to going out, I’m not against the stoppage, but we also know Wilder has heart, and the ability to turn anybody’s lights out.

I don’t agree at all with keep his trap shut
If you don’t like the way your being treated, voice your opinion, fighters have earned that. Besides, if it is Walker, that’s no tune up fight, and it is a high risk low reward type of matchup. I’d personally like to see Marretta against Cory Anderson, wouldn’t mind watching him get knocked out again after all the talk he had done previously

My bad
I thought it was 50/50, read it wrong… still don’t agree with it, not with the career he’s had of always being a action fighter full of heart. Not the most technical, fastest, or strongest, but always ran on pure heart. To see that gone, it’s just sad
