OT but can someone help explain what constitutes a foul on a 3 point shot?
I watch a lot of NBA and OBVIOUSLY they call these much more often, but there were threes taken by both teams tonight where I thought the player was fouled. I know it’s subjective and I know PSU will always get screwed (am I doing this right?) but I’d like a little more clarity on what you think is the drawing line.

My bad, I didn't see you said "outcoached" not coached-well

...? He has readily admitted that Pat has coached well during this winning streak.
But I’m sure jcross appreciates you keeping score for him.

When I said "down the stretch,"
I meant about second half of the second half. So i agree.

Away game = Watkins double double

I agree with you there.
This team doesn’t really follow the patterns of PSU teams of the past.

A few take-aways
- This team plays much much much better when Harrar is on the floor versus Watkins. Watkins is great when he is on, but Harrar’s consistency, court-vision, and ball handling make him a better asset to this collection of players.
- I hope the defensive effort by the team tonight down the stretch doesn’t go unnoticed. Lamar and Dread’s blocks were unreal.
- I’m not Chambers’s biggest fan (although I’m certainly thrilled with the success and hope I continue to be wrong). I really wish he could have drawn up some better plays down the stretch to get some more open looks. Obviously there is some credit that has to be given to Illinois on this front too. BUT I will say that the all access thing tonight made me really appreciate Chambers a lot more. He clearly is respected by the team and communicates fundamentals in timeouts. Good communicator and knows how to motivate the team. Very calm in big moments and ultimately I think that transfers to the team (despite the loss.
- Illinois’s head coach looked exactly like the Cyclops from O Brother Where Art Thou

Why is Illinois's head coach
drawing penises on the white board?

I thought I recognized the name Kibe.
I know quite a number of Miff Co natives who have season tickets. They’ll have it loud for him for sure

But it's not on fire?

I kinda agree.
At first we were ranked which was awesome, but getting bounced in the first round would kind of put a damper on the whole thing. At this point though like… We cracked the top ten… In late February. Unreal

But Thompkins had a nice game
About 6 catches for 96 yds and a TD

McGloin will remain the starter
His back up was horrendous
