Hopefully you found something in Coan
He really was something else going down the stretch. Totally agree about losing that game, but honestly, it just fits into the narrative that we have going on here about our coaching staff and their issues with play calling. Next week will determine our season, for better or worse.
Great game to you guys as well. Good luck going forward. I think you guys have a shot at running the table.

Hard to watch from the other side
From our Gobbler Country crew in Blacksburg, we are soooo jealous of what you guys have going on at ND. Solid coach, money, a network, winning games like that. We on the other hand have the best entrance in sports, we just need to work on what we do after we run on the field. Seriously though, great game and the writing you guys do is on point. Also, if you have any coaches who might be looking for a head coaching position on 1-3 months time, let us know. We’re going to miss playing you guys over the next few years. Good luck on the rest of the season!

While the team is unable to look forward a week or two, we certainly can. It’s feeling more and more that the team that wins between the Hokies and Panthers on October 16th is going to be the Coastal Champion. Two losses for UVA, UNC, and GT in conference, mixed with neither Duke or Miami looking like they can string together consecutive wins, and you get the only two Coastal teams that are undefeated in conference and would have an effective two game lead on the other after the game. A win versus ND at a sold out Lane would be some great momentum, but maybe just as importantly will be to make sure the team is healthy for a Pitt team coming off a bye and hungry for a signature win.
Could be great!
This is the kind of momentum that Mike Young is looking to create. This would add solid depth for the 2022 season and a possible playmaker once he rounds into form. Let’s keep our fingers crossed.
