June was hired on with SB Nation in August 2011, after earning several art degrees but struggling to find work. First, she worked on a volunteer basis for Cageside Seats Pro Wrestling in 2010. Initially, she helped build CSS alongside Geno Mrosko, wearing many hats while there, leading up to Assistant Site Manager. After leaving CSS, she went on to work with MMA Mania, The Daily Norseman, Bad Left Hook & the Combat Culture YT Channel, while officially setting her home-base to Bloody Elbow by Spring of 2013. She has done many behind-the-scenes projects for the Combat Sports Division: including creating dozens of logos, brackets, spreadsheets, 1000s of Graphics, 100s of Videos, Authoring & Editing posts, as well as running many of our podcast social media pages. She’s our BE Production Manager & Ombudsman, & Podcast Syndicator. She also helps out as an author, editor, statistician & lead fixer for the site. As a freelancer, she creates graphics for the ‘Heavy Hands’ Podcast, Produces ‘The Eugene S. Robinson Show Stomper!’ Podcast & ‘The Bad Boss Brief’ Podcast; as well as Producing ‘The VFCS’ Podcast for WONGDOODY.com. June is always volunteering to help out anywhere, anyway she can & is currently working hard to help BloodyElbow.com become independent of VOX, particularly focusing on assisting in keeping the Podcast Network alive & well.
