Born & bred in the Colorado high country. I was there, atop 'The Wall', the day G. LeMond rode away, 9 laps of dreaded Morgul Bismark, with the Ruskies. Finishing far & away ahead of all other riders, +10 min. in the "Red Zinger Classic" - Boulder, Colorado. Rode my bike to work for 24 years in Arvada. Currently live on Gore Pass, elev = 8550 ft., near Kremmling and not far from Steamboat springs. Land Surveyor by trade, Snow plow operator, ranch hand by necessity.
