I’m obviously not in on practice or with the staff, but I don’t think this is fair to put on the training staff.
Drafting, trading for, and signing injury prone players as part of your strategy for team building leads to things like this happening. Most of these guys have had the best/healthiest seasons of their careers in Indiana because of this training staff. They can help mitigate and work on injury prevention, but they realistically have little to no control over whether or not a player gets injured.
I don’t think it’s a fair argument to be honest. I’d argue that this is more on the FO for making it part of their strategy and routinely banking on health when we know that isn’t realistic.
