OT: Shesterkin injured in a car accident this week
Probably means the Rangers hold onto Georgiev for the rest of the year.

Why did Noesen attempt a low % shot like that?

Good on New Jersey for getting started
They have gotten some great returns.

Dillon has too many nhl-ready LHD working against him as well.
Too bad, I remember there were questions about the Demers trade but I think we ultimately came out on top. Dillon’s has been great. But if Simek, Ferraro, and Merkley are part of the future D-core, I’m not sure how we can keep him, let alone pay him fair value and term.
Some of you might say to move Vlasic but I don’t see that happening.
Good trip through Alberta Sharks!

I mean...technically Nieto was one of our prospects...haha
Plus maybe we could get more production out of him in a new system. And he is still young.

OT: Mile High Hockey posted an article about trading for Melker
One fan comment asks who they would bring out of the lineup to make room for the penalty kill help. Someone suggested scratching Nieto.
If this trade does somehow happen, I think I would love to bring Nieto back into the lineup rather than a mid round pick.

Congrats to MEV
As a Canadian Sharks fan I’ve always been pleased by his outspoken support of international hockey and how he really dialed in his performance on team Canada. Not sure what the future holds but despite the fan feelings right now I’d say he has provided a lot of positivity during his time in teal.

Garrioch also reported that EK65 would not re-sign with the Sharks because of his wife.
He re-signed and they had a baby in SJ instead.

Darkness, darkness everywhere
Poor, Hertl…the game has not been kind to his knee.
Like others here, I question whether we will truly have a legit 1C return from this injury. I’m sure he’ll get a shot, and he deserves a shot, but I’m going to set expectations low.

Won't happen
We have a 5.75 mil per year backup. Let’s accept it and see how we can retool with the rest of our cap space.

Yikes Jones
I wonder if there is a way to mentally come back from what he is going through. At some point I think a goalie starts questioning their own ability to win at the NHL level.
