We got rid of Comcast for Fubo.
We get ACC network now!
No more Yes Network tho.

Adams has had a few nice touches when given the opportunity.
I’d like to see him used a little more if Tucker is gassed. Or play both of them and bring one wide in motion. Both backs can catch the ball.

1. Law of averages. If they all lose 7 games each by 10 or less pts. That would be pretty incredible. I can see 1 game where we lose by ~3 TDs.
2. In that game, I can easily see we have trouble running the ball and our offense stalls out. We dig ourselves into a big deficit and forced to throw more. Bad news.
3. I was trying to think of the worst case scenario where Babers keeps his job.

So let's play this out.
They finish 5-7, no bowl. They probably have another heartbreaking close loss (because college football) and get blown out once or twice. They lose Elmore, Servais, Adams, and the veterans on the defensive front plus standard attrition (Are those all the seniors?…feel like I’m missing a few tho). DeVito probably transfers. 80% offense return, 70% defense return, hopefully ST gets fixed.
Next year has a OOC schedule with Purdue and Notre Dame at Home and UVA is the crossover, also at home. We get the easy away games next season at Wake, Pitt and BC. I’m also not sure how the rest of the ACC is looking like for next season..
I don’t think the university and the AD will be sold on moving on from Babers with this outcome this season. But I have to think next year is the year where a 7-5 is the minimum Babers will need to keep his job.
Trying to get a state of the program, looking long term. It’s possible this season’s close games, mistakes and such could pay dividends with this young group next year and beyond. Have to start seeing results towards the end of the this year/next year tho.

Their SP numbers have been getting better each week. Only after Rutgers did they fall back.
Defense has been In the 40-60 range and the offense keeps improving each week.
One thing is for sure, Syracuse Football certainly has me interested in how the 2nd half of the season will play out.
I saw on Bill Connelly’s Twitter that postgame, Wake only had a 32% win expectancy.

Finally decompressed at the hotel
Took 3 friends to see the game. They had an absolute blast at the game. They enjoyed the town, the people we interacted with.
They adored the stadium too. Even the bathrooms (except my 1 buddy who is a shy peeer).
They also experienced a hell of a CFB game, their firsts.
So thanks to Cuse, the locals, the the teams.
That being said. I’m with many here about the coaching decisions. We played not to lose. That sucks. It cost us the game. I can take 1 loss on coaching for a season. Not 2.
We HAVE to figure out our punting and kicking. I think its forcing Dino to overthink the situation football tactics.
Not gonna fault the D on the play calling or their effort. Theye’ve been able to get to the QB with a 3 man front plus a spy. It didn’t workout as well today. That’s expected. They kept us in the game. Had their legs late. Held WF to that 1st drive FG. The turnover was a big halt in Wakes momentum too.
I have no idea what to make of this offense. Two 25+ carrier each for over 150. Hey, if it works.

This is true.
They were a dark horse candidate with Burrow and really good recruiting history. But no close to a favorite.
I would know because I bet them at 25 to 1 in August preseason.

I thought this was the best the offense has played. Best play calling all year.
I thought this was the worst the defense has played. Really bad tackling and no awareness. Duce’s pick was amazing.
And Special Teams did us no favors as usual this season.
You have to think if we clean up the mental errors, we’re right there. I don’t know how you put not jumping on a backwards pass and not finishing a play on a sideline on coaching. Or a missed XPT and a shanked punt for that matter.
Oh and F the ACC refs.
