I'll never forget Quinn saying something to the effect of
"he’s got to pass it to his teammates or they aren’t going to like playing with him" after Sexton took a contested jumper and then after a bad turnover later in the game, his response was "guess that’s why he doesn’t pass."

Took extensive injuries to keep them from making the playoffs last year even with a coach that turned out to be a worst case scenario type of hire. Really not too worried as long as health is there unless the East is so improved that a 48-50 win season equates the 7-8 seed.
Plus, Lowe’s had us in the lottery for at least the last three years, so it’s not a real surprise when even the most plugged in national writers are perennially out.

Mark makes some valid points
But it just doesn’t compute for me as a wholesale change. I certainly don’t feel like McConnell should be playing starter’s minutes, though starting him in one of those "first guy to the bench" roles could theoretically get the Pacers some quick starts? I don’t know, I echo SpreeGoogs above that "true point guard" isn’t high on my list of needs, so long as Carlisle continues to move the ball like Nate (plural) did. McConnell isn’t so much better than Brogdon as a ball handler if he even is better to make me want to move LeVert to the bench.
