I'm a junior at Arizona State University in the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism with an emphasis in print journalism and also working towards a minor in political science. I'm the managing editor here at House of Sparky I was born in St. Louis but raised, grew up and became who I am today in the south. I make my home in New Orleans, Louisiana and still go home on school breaks and when I can. I won't overwhelm you with New Orleans or SEC pride but I will certainly acknowledge it's there and it comes out every once in a while when I can't help it...y'all. I have a passion for all things southern and dressing well. I enjoy great food and traveling the world (thinking a la Anthony Bourdain if this sports thing doesn't pan out). That being said I do like my music country (Paisley, Chesney, Bryan and Aldean are my favorites) and relaxing. I try not to take life to seriously and always have faith that things will work out the way they should at the end of the day. I always like to surround myself with positive people and don't enjoy a lot of negativity.
