Wilder got bullied..
Fury was always the better boxer, that was evident in the first fight, but this time around Tyson also had the additional power because of the weight gain, and that became the deciding factor. Once Wilders ear drum bursted and his equilibrium went off, that fight was basically over, and it was all a matter of time before the fight would get stopped.

This artwork is definitely cool too, but..
There’s just too many things going on for my likening. It looks more like the cover of a computer game, rather than the poster for a fight – at least in my opinion. Also, I don’t like the dark, underworld-ish theme for this fight, it doesn’t capture or reflect the fight very well. These two fighters are the two very best guys in that division, both on a 12 or 13 fight winning streak, raised above the rest and pretty much cleaned out the division between the two of them, while fighting for the spot as arguably the greatest 155’er of all time – that deserves some bright lights and a majestic aura to it. Give me that Olympus feel. Like two greats are about to clash in a battle for the throne. The official poster captures that whole spirit vastly better than this one.

The official poster is cool!
Nice, clean and classy!

God bless her heart..
Jojo should receive her win bonus, if she leaves that octagon fully conscious, on her own two feet and with no broken bones.

I'm actually surprised by the amount of people, who dislike Eugene.
And I’m having a hard time seeing why? He has been doing quite a few interviews lately, and probably also more than he’d like, but I think that comes along with being awarded Gym of the year and Coach of the year a month ago, being so tightly connected to Israel Adesanya who seems to be the hottest thing in MMA since the early McGregor days – oh, and also having three fighters from his gym fighting on home soil this coming weekend. You see John Kavanagh spending a lot of time in the media, whenever Conor is about to fight, you saw Eric Albarracin doing interviews left, right and center when Cejudo became double champ, we see Duane getting attention when Dillashaw fights and so it goes.
I also can’t be mad at him for saying it’s his decision, ultimately, who Adesanya fights. I’m assuming none of us know which agreements Eugene and Izzy have between them. If it’s agreed Eugene has the last say, and Izzy trusts him 100%, why is he then wrong for saying it as it is?
Lastly, I see comments on their planning, and the fact that they look ahead. I get how it can be seen as if they are looking passed current opponents, but truth is, this is how Eugene and Israel have been working all along, even before entering the UFC. I believe every single fighter and the team around them, have the future planned out to some extend – regardless of what they say – City Kickboxing Gym are just being vocal about their plans. They seem to not fear failing and they seem to be very comfortable with the pressure they put on themselves by being vocal with their plans. In fact, I think Izzy needs this kind of pressure on himself to keep the fire. He seems to enjoy saying what he’s going to do, and then going out there and doing exactly that. It has worked so far, and bought him a UFC title, so if that’s how he keeps himself going, then so be it.

How does he go through a full cycle?
Please explain. I’m playing your game now. Jon took it intentionally. He cheated. He dosed up on turinabol. He’s everything you say he is. But where are the positive tests during that cycle? In fact, don’t even show me those positive tests – fxck that part – just explain how he’s managed to piss clean while being roided up on arguably the most traceable substance? YOU say he cheated, so tell me how. No evidence, just explain how.
And I’ll wait.

Can we please skip that narrative?
It’s always presented as if Jones has had 6284 rematches. He’s had two. I’m not denying he’s won both, but the whole "Jon always does good/better in rematches"-thing just sounds silly, when considered the amount of data. A cynical person would even say he’s 1-0-1 in rematches, although I wouldn’t agree with that narrative.

Of course, there are examples of fights being run back.
But as of late, I think we’ve seen quite a few fighters promise the loser a rematch while still being high on adrenaline and the whole moment right after the fight, but once the dust settles, those immediate rematches don’t really come around – at least not as often as promised. Jorge didn’t even make it to the locker room, before he had changed his mind.

The moment I heard Jon say their rematch would cool..
Was the moment I realised we aren’t getting any rematch. It’s like, whenever someone says the loser will get his rematch, right in the aftermath, they rarely seem to stand by their words. Tony told Cowboy they could run it back, Jorge told Nate they could run it back, Conor told Nate (and I also believe Aldo) they could run it back and the list probably goes on. Reyes ain’t getting that fight anytime soon.

The crazy part is this..
James Krause dominated 4 minutes of the 1st round, with back control and various submission attempts – in other words, with BJJ. The one ref who didn’t give him the round, is allegedly a black belt in BJJ. THAT MAN SHOULD KNOW WHAT THE HELL HE WAS LOOKING AT!
Sense it makes none.
