if you are going to correct other’s english...

… you should at least be correct. You are not. It is perfectly reasonable english to say Jon was "raining terror" on his opponents. "rain" is a verb (I’m not sure you know this), while you are referring to the noun "reign", which the other had just previously used, referring to Jon’s "reign" as champion of the 205 lb division. So, you are both insufferable AND embarrassing yourself. Congratulations!
