Sorry, my new normal take is within the context of what a ‘standard DC loss’ may be. Before, it was a few shots, but no real hope against the opposition. Now, it’s rueing missed chances while generally controlling the tone of a game (turns out, writing while having some white wine and no real dinner doesn’t give one clarity of thought!).

Don’t disagree, both backups have been suboptimal.

This team won first two this month, and Hamid missed most of them.

When it comes to being correct (or lack thereof), will direct you to my starting XI predictions most every game!
I will say that this year compared to ‘19, there’s been a lot more first team/exec presence at Loudoun games than just Levien and Kasper. Part of it has to be logical (since a few guys live out here/near Segra now), but it seems like it would be a reasonable request for Losada to make, try to go by if you can, that kind of thing.

I’m not sure if I would read that much into an omission; he’s got first team obligations and can lean on Rushton, Mairs, Kasper and Martin (and Ouckama once onboarded) for input on kids until getting a chance to look at them either/both in real life or tape. Combined with the current DCU kids being part of an insanely good class, it’s reasonable to expect longer timelines for others like TKdP, who’s having his best year so far (with Garay) and doesn’t turn 20 until January, and who made the choice to go pro rather than get a little more tailored organizational path.
Nothing inside based on this comment, pure speculation.
