1: Jones showed all around technicality versus Reyes lopsided offense. Reyes took jones down, they probably would have given him one of the rounds he lost. Rounds 3-5 showed he was gassed and running in circles around the octagon.

2: Jones spent majority of rounds 3-5 chasing after a gassed fighter who had nothing left in his tank for punches or kicks.

3. Here it goes: You don’t like the opinions of others…great. But don’t be an asshole because they don’t agree with your stance on how the fight went. I said probably in 10 parts of this thread that 4-1 decision by a judge is a joke. Also said it was a razor close fight. Reyes needed more than just dominating 2 rounds to pick up a win. Dancing around octagon isn’t cutting it.

Significant strikes is one thing, but add in take downs, etc. Nobody ever thinks about take down defense unless its definitive that you have dominated the fight standing. There was no sign of dominance in stand up. There was no 10-8. That was just questionable judging. It was a 1 point fight and Reyes costed himself the fight in rounds 3-5.

Jones turned back and ran right back into the fire. Not a single time in that fight Jones did a full lap around the octagon, Reyes on the other hand…it looked awful in rounds 3-5. Even point where jones sat in the fire and weaved his way out of 1-2 combos from Reyes. Jones actually decided to go for takedowns, something Reyes did not attempt once in the fight.

Just gotta show you are an all around dude. Reyes missed the mark, he was close though. Had he taken jones down in 3rd or even 4th. Swayed the decision. That judge with the 4-1 decision…thats just some dumb shit.

But judges looked at it on an all around scale. Exception of that 4-1 idiot. Definitely wasn’t 4-1. 2-2 and at some point the deciding factor was cardio, aggression and all around factor of takedowns, strikes(kicks/punches) and activity.

Reyes just looked dead by 5th around, 4th round he was heading to E on his gas tank.

Provide and argument or go away. Probably latter is better for you.

there was no 4-1, thats just bullshit. But rounds 3-5 were questionable for Reyes. He did nothing to show he wanted the fight at the end. Nobody wants to point out that reyes was running and Jones was the aggressor who took down Reyes.

Once again, tired of saying it but Reyes….try to be multidimensional fighter and take jones down or do something to show an all around game.

3, 4, and 5 shows Reyes slowing down, struggling and do nothing but throwing shots and running away.

Reyes probably acted aggressive once or twice in rounds 3-5, he would have gotten the win. Try to do a takedown and stop the one dimensional stuff.
