if it had happened in the first round id have been fine with a dq

but i have to feel bad for Pereira when the decision comes this late into an outstanding performance. A no contest might have been "fairer".
The fact is the strike was illegal and the rules are the rules. We can’t complain when they are enforced because everyone goes apeshit when they are not.

I threw better kicks my first day of martial arts training

I was a 12 year old who’s only prior experience was watching drunken master and enter the dragon.
I would expect more from a professional athlete.

I’m not sure it’s too harsh to be underwhelmed and very sceptical of her chances at beating anyone in the ufc.
