What???
What does sexual orientation have anything to do with how one performs at his or her job? How’s that even relevant to anything? I understand, even if I don’t agree, asking Eli Apple if he could cook to extrapolate life skills but asking if someone is gay or straight? I don’t see the connection to anything

That's not cap hell
They massaged a contract for wiggle room and I disagree that Solder would be cut this year even with minimal cap hit. They don’t have a significant upgrade on the roster even if they draft one I highly doubt they’d throw a rookie in there day 1 barring injury

No such thing as long-term cap hell
I haven’t seen an NFL team be handcuffed multi-year by the cap. Maybe they might have less money to spend one off-season but nothing that will deter them from making significant moves. Thought the Giants were in cap hell last year according to some here, they still signed Tate and Golden among others

It would be funny if we give Conklin a massive deal
Only for him to be outplayed in camp by Gates to the RT position…

I am sorry but as a fan I like my HC to be the conduit to the team
I don’t want a bumbling idiot because more often than not that’s a microcosm of ineffective communicator. Sure you get an occasional Belichik who’s actions are louder than words. So yes, I do care how my favorite teams HC handles himself in front of the media

LOL the Adam Sandler bit made me chuckle

5 years in what is he really going to prove?
He is what his recent seasons are. What if he plays well under a tag as a fools gold season? Now you are almost obligated to give him a long-term ext coming of a great season with inconsistent play

That's such a bs take...Eli was dead in the water after '13
Now if you want to argue they complemented each other well, I might accept that but no f’ing way Eli brought out Odell’s greatness, and yes, he was great in his first 3 years!

Nate Solder
Might be the worst Giant signing in the last 10-15 years despite the obv need at tackle. Can’t think of a worse one…

Maybe because you didn't compliment but complemented him:)
Ok I’ll see myself out

Mara also said why did we wait 3 years to find out Jernigan can play
Sorry, Mara has zero credibility with me. Sure, he’s the owner, and nothing I could do about that but that doesn’t mean I trust his instinct or decision-making. I’m in agreement though should’ve cleaned house in 2015

Yeah I don't get how Coughlin is unconditionally absolved
He was no longer the SB winning coach at the end of his tenure. Giants under him were consistently inconsistent and undisciplined at times. You could even argue TC underachieved a great deal esp that 2012 season when they went from 6-2 to finish 9-7. We’ve seen many collapses like that under his tenure. I’m not a JR or TC guy and appreciate both but the blame and credit should be shared between them both for the successes and failures of that era

Said GM also had a super bowl pedigree

Need serious passrush in FA
I’d rather draft a tackle in R1 or 2 and sign a premier DE than do the reverse

So anyone who disagrees is wrong and their argument is moot?
Gotcha

Not sure if he can play 3-4 though

Chris Jones
If the Giants really want disruptive interior passrush, I rather pay Chris Jones $15m+ than pay LW $10m+. Admittedly, only watched Jones in playoffs last year and this and the guy looks beastly. Jones might demand more to make all this moot but man he’s an impact player.

Hey I enjoyed Sosa and McGuire and summer of '98
That’s when I got into baseball as a kid. It was captivating. I’m not gonna get into moral dilemma of cheating but I care about baseball
