How does that compare to Couts, Giroux, Konecny, Voracek, Hayes, JVR, Provorov, and Niskanen? I don’t know. It doesn’t seem too different to me.

I have neighbors in their 60s whose kid (in her 20s?) just died in a rock climbing accident. They live down the block from me. I’ve only spoken to the father once. I talk to the mother a couple of times a year when I run into her, over the last several years.

My questions: Should I give them a condolence gift? Or is it strange/inappropriate since I barely know them?

(Personally, I wouldn’t want anything if I were in their shoes, but maybe I’m weird like that.)
