I've been a cards fan for over 50 years, and a daily VEB reader for a dozen. Dig Indiana Hoosier basketball, americana and alt-country music, and collecting fiddles, mandolins, and guitars I always liked Bake McBride as a player, and the name lends itself to double entendre'. Dig this picture of Ted Simmons- I wore that hairstyle thru 4 years of Little League... Players born on 10/20, my birthday: Mickey Mantle, Juan Marichal, Keith Hernandez, and Juan Gonzalez. Not bad, but like me, they all had issues!
