And made a mistake in the apology and has yet to apologize for that (not holding my breath for it).
If the twin towers reference was a euphemism, wonder what was the original thought.
An an analogy for strength and resilience not holding up against something that can overcome it, the twin towers does make sense. However, Israel lacked awareness of the sensitivities of a large portion of the target audience around any major disasters resulting in deaths of largely US citizens. If Israel had instead referred to Israel’s limbs as missiles, then rather than feel sad for the greater loss of human lives to missiles, a large portion of the target audience will be imagining the awe inspiring destructive powers of various missiles.
We may want to ease up on Israel, lest Israel gets even more nervous and knees a downed Yoel. (For those who don’t know, last to last weekend two UFC fights ended in disqualifications due to kneeing of downed opponents.)

Israel Adesanya vs Stipe Miocic at light heavyweight?
Stipe defends heavy-weight belt against Jon Jones, then defeats champion Jon at light-heavyweight. Then Israel challenges Stipe at light-heavyweight. Jon and Stipe may be within about 15 lbs of each other in the middle of fight camps (when they get in fighting shape and before the weight-cutting for the weigh-ins).

Dominic Reyes liked burned more calories in the fight than Jon Jones.
Jon Jones used energy relatively conservatively. It was quite a feat at light heavyweight to use the amount of movement that Dominic used in the early rounds and still be able to keep enough movement to avoid being clobbered in the later rounds by a relatively fresh Jon Jones.

Acting? Fighitng is Valentina Shevchenko's family business.
Valentina got sucked into the family business when just 5 years old. Valentina hasn’t chosen to leave that profession as of yet.
Apparently, Valentina is choosing to explore becoming a professional actor.

Subjective view as to what is a better way to determine a winner of the fight.
John Kavanagh thinks that it would be (subjectively) better to weight the later rounds more for a fight that goes the distance. John is not alone in that preference over the current system. Many others would like to decide a winner based on the overall fight (cumulative damage, etcetera), rather than the current system of scoring individual rounds.

Scoring rounds, not the whole fight.
Which 3 rounds do you want to give to Jon Jones? Presuming 4, 5 and one other one.
Two judges gave round 2 to Jon, and two judges gave round 3 to Jon. All gave round 1 to Dominic Reyes and rounds 4 and 5 to Jon.
In any case, it appears more sensible to call for the investigation of two or more judges instead of a single judge, as rounds are scored, and not the whole fight (though some judges may allow their view of the whole fight to influence the scores of some rounds).
FYI: MMA decisions showed that more media scored it for Dominic, than for Jones. All had 48-47 for one or the other.

Corey Anderson (not Dominick Reyes) TKOed Johnny Walker.
Were you referring to someone else as ‘Walker’?

I would prefer to take the monetary incentive out of fighting.
I don’t like people doing things that are notably physically or mentally harmful (or risky) to selves largely in order to have more wealth, though I do like watching some of it. I recommend that societies discourage monetarily incentivizing hurting selves or others.

I would expect intentional fouls to become much rarer if few got away with it.
Say, multiple people are in charge of flagging videos segments for review by the determiners, and the segments are reviewed with a very small delay by the determiners who will stop the fight when called for. Most of these decisions can be made within a minute. The determiners can be authorized to break the fight for unintentional fouls too (so it is not just the referee’s call).
This isn’t about disliking any person, but about disliking intentional fouls. Conor McGregor appeared to me to be intentionally fouling against Khabib Nurmagomedov, presumably to counter the perceived gap in grappling prowess. Conor doesn’t typically foul that way. I recommend severely penalizing blatant intentional fouls towards making the tactic highly undesirable to the fighters. Also, I suspect some fighters may use eye pokes or inducing the fear of eye pokes to gain an advantage. I suspect Santiago Ponzinibbio of having tactically utilized difficult to spot eye pokes to counter the striking threat posed by Gunnar Nelson. Santiago doesn’t typically foul that way.
Hopefully, the judiciousness of the selected determiners of intentionality will be far less prone to bias compared to the comments section on this Web site.

Funniness and offensiveness are subjective.
I recommend that fighters like Joanna Jedrzejczyk work at better gauging the sensitivities of those they are trying to win over or antagonize.

If fouls are deemed intentional (with a high degree of certainty), then I would prefer disqualification on first offense being the norm.
I recommend multiple people being involved in making the determination on intentionality (E.g. 3+ out of 5). I recommend allowing technology (such as instant replays) in aiding the determination.

During the fight, most ONE Flyweights (135 pound limit) are likely closer in weight to most UFC Flyweights than most UFC Bantamweights.
Because of the different weight cutting regulations and the common weight cutting practices in UFC (and other major MMA entertainment companies), the subject line of this post is highly relevant to ONE’s chosen weight range for the Flyweight division.
