Ok so for the 3rd time i will say for that at bat i was referencing he had some good pitches to hit. Obviously as a leadoff hitter i agree walks are good.

The instance i mentioned was when he came back from injury and he was batting 8th for awhile. And why dont you understand a walk is not always a good thing? He had good pitches to hit but looked like he wanted to walk and then ran to first with a shit eating grin on his face.

Its called situational hitting

I dont need Nimmo working out a walk after letting perfectly hittable pitches go by with two outs and a man on second with the pitcher on deck. Swing the effin bat when the situation calls for it. If i managed the Mets i would have sat him down after that

As a lifetime Met fan i know all about being out of races early. I do maintain interest though by following individual players. Who doesnt want to see every start by Degrom regardless of where they are in the standings. This expanded playoff scheme is a solution in search of a problem.
