I lived in Colorado in the nineties so I became a fan then, I've been in Idaho for twenty years and pay lots of money to have Altitude so I can watch every game. I started playing hockey at forty and it's the sport I was born to play….I absolutely love it! I've been fully immersed in playing or coaching since then (girls) but I'm not the serious super knowledgeable fan or stats gal who grew up playing and knows the sport that way. But I've been in a competitive sport of one kind or another since I was four so I go by the eye test of what I see in a team. Mostly I just read the comments and follow along with the people who know more than I...I enjoy the chatter!
