AJ Green!!
I can see AJ Green coming on a one year deal after coming off of injury. He’d be unstoppable in this offense. Him and Deebo together would wreck the league. But I say we sign and draft guys for depth. Our starters are good. We need more depth at some positions.

We’re in a great position to go back to the SB. No Blair, Richburg, DJ Jones, or Julian Taylor yesterday and yesterday it really looked like Kwon’s injury really had an effect on his game. A healthy Richburg would have helped with Jones and our D-line rotation wasn’t as good. Add Trent Taylor and Jalen Hurd, with a few free agents and the re-signjng of some of our guys, I think we’ll be even better next year.

Exactly!!
I agree with everything you said. It was a tough loss but also a lesson learned. I think we will be even better next year. Our cap situation will change drastically over the next few months given restructures and losing guys like Goodwin and McKinnon off the cap. Is there a team that is set up for success more than the 49ers? I don’t think so

Tough Loss
But before the season started I expected us to compete for the playoffs, not a SB, so while we were I hate that we lost I am proud of the season that we had. Hindsight is 20/20, there are a lot of things about the game that we can look back on and wish we had done something different, my only issue was clock management before halftime. Chris Jones made some great plays, and had he not made those plays, the outcome would have been different because he knocked down passes that looked to be sure first downs. But enough about last night, let’s talk about the future.
I believe this team is set up to be a force for years to come. Jimmy G will only get better and next year hopefully we’ll see a healthy Trent Taylor and Jalen Hurd added to the offense. We need to make some improvements on the offensive line and in the secondary and try to sign Armstead at all costs to keep the front together. But the 49er arrow is definitely pointing up. We’re young, well coached and now that they’ve been there will be hungry to get back to the SB.

HOF is a Joke
I’m sorry but if Edgerin James is a HOFer so is Ricky Watters and Roger Craig. Hell, even Fred Taylor had a better career than James.
