Grew Up in Royal Oak and became big Tigers fan. Greatest summer of my life was 1968. I saw Denny McLain win 4 of his 31 wins and 2 of his 6 losses. Went to 3rd game of World Series that year. Two years later I worked for Mike Ilitch in the early years of Little Caesar's before it went nationwide. He offered me a job managing a store but I turned it down! At the same time Mickey Lolich was a co-worker where I was a cook.
