I really hope we get this guy
The thought of having TWO players on the roster who shot 47% from three in their last full seasons! Oh boy, i really like that.
Running with the roster projection from this article
I’d expect a rotation something like this
1: Wheeler 1a: Wallace
2: Frederick 2b: Reeves/Wallace
3: Livingston 3b: Reeves
4: Toppin 4b: Collins
5: Oscar 5b: Ware
Wallace will clearly be the most talented 2-guard not the team, but I’m not sold on his shooting yet. I think we have to keep one of our top shooters on the floor at virtually all times, which is why I’d slide Frederick in front of Wallace for the time being (hopefully Frederick’s defense is good). I think Livingston will be a good shooter, so that would help out and hopefully allow us to keep 2 shooter on the floor at all times. This roster will also be set up well to throw in some more 3 guard lineups with a lot of shooting. I can also envision some big lineups that could put out not he floor that would still have shooters.
Sharpe, should he come back, would almost certainly become the starter at the 2.

Good write up
I’m with Bill1470 in that I’m not totally sold on Reeves being the best option for us to pick up out of the portal. But at the same time, i think it’s very hard to pass up on him if he wants to come. The dude’s a scorer and a shooter, like you have already captured. Biggest thing to me too, which you didn’t capture, is that Reeves certainly was "the guy" at Illinois State. He was surely the focus point for opposing defenses, and he still managed 20 a game with those shooting numbers (and those are good shooting numbers!).
Sure the competition will be much higher at UK, but he won’t be the best player on the floor anymore or focus of opponents — not even close. Which means as teams are scrambling to try and contain Oscar, Wallace, Frederick, Livingston, and (hopefully) Wheeler, Reeves would be in position to get a lot more open shots. He won’t have the ball in his hands as much, but he’ll get more good looks. And if he plays good defense and is willing to embrace a role as an off-ball offensive player, i expect his shooting number would go up. Him and Frederick could easily give us two guys shooting over 40% from three next season, which would be huge. (And I am also very optimistic on Livingston as a shooter, i could easily see him shooting high 30s from outside and pushing for 40!)

If he doesn't we'll be heartbroken together
I think he’s back. I just have a good feeling about what is coming together right now.
Collins also back for next year, I missed him

MVC sure ain't the SEC
But looking at our current roster projection — Oscar, Frederick, Livingston, Wallace all in for sure and general expectation for Wheeler and Toppin to return — we still need shooting. And While not at the same level of competition, if Reeves can average 20 ppg with 47/39/82 shooting splits at a mid major level (and that’s probably as "the guy" on his team that gets most of the defensive attention), the fit makes sense. We need another shooter to pair with Frederick. And with the other weapons around the court, it should open up looks for Reeves. Not sure he’d be my first choice to fill in as our second good shooter, but if he wants to come to UK, it’s hard to turn him down. The fit is certainly there. (That 6’6" frame is icing on the cake too — hope he plays defense)

Everything i've seen has said Brooks is just testing the waters.
I think Dickie V may have just jumped the gun on that one. The only people right now that that is for sure gone is Tyty for the pros, Hopkins and Allen to the portal, and Mintz and Grady to graduation. Everyone else on from last year’s roster still has the option to come back as far as i know.
