Or when no team started 0-2 and won the Super Bowl? Just because no team has won a Super Bowl with a QB making 12-15% of the salary cap doesn’t mean it can NEVER happen. It may be more challenging, but the Boys were the first to accomplish the other 2, why not this one too?

They could’ve extended him after his 3rd year, BEFORE he had his breakout as a CB. Instead of giving him an extension, they decided to let him play this past season on his 5th year option (priced at Safety aka CHEAP) to make sure his breakout wasn’t a fluke. Turns out it wasn’t. He provided the same good/not great play (good coverage, no INTs). And here we are.
