I Mean...
the headband is cool and all, but are we really proclaiming a player from South Dakota State as the top transfer portal prospect? We are talking about a player who amassed those statistics against the likes of Presentation, Prairie View A&M, all the Dakota schools, Omaha (twice), St. Thomas (twice), Denver (twice), Western Illinois (twice), and Kansas City (twice). This just seems a bit over the top… .
Show of hands for those of you who had actually heard of this guy before this article dropped.

Hey Westcoast
remind us again how many times you have seen Sharpe play? How many times have you seen him practice? How many UK practices did you attend while he was with the team? If, as I strongly suspect, your answers are Zero, Zero, Zero (great show by the way ), then how on earth are you qualified to label him "a difference maker who could have helped KY win?" While we are on the subject of just how truly ridiculous your post is, can we get your take on John Wall, Anthony Davis, Karl Anthony Towns, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Tyler Herro, Bam Abedayo, De’Aaron Fox, Jamal Murray, and all the other "graduates" of Cal’s NBA Academy? I assume you hate them all and did not in any way enjoy or appreciate any of the Final Fours they helped Kentucky reach, or the more than 360 games they helped Kentucky win since Cal’s arrival. Yep, these past 13 years have really sucked for Kentucky fans, and I’m so glad we have someone like you here to guide the University on how to tell our crappy Hall of Fame coach that he either needs to stop recruiting NBA level talent (and truly excellent human beings) or hit the road. Send me the link and I’ll be the first to donate to your UK presidential campaign because you clearly have all the answers.

I Couldn't Help Noticing...
that all of the folks on this site who rear their ugly heads and call for Cal’s head whenever they don’t get their way were quite silent yesterday when the player Cal had recruited and developed into the consensus NPOY announced that he was coming back to play for Cal and further development for another year. If any of those unrelenting Cal haters ever want even a shred of credibility, they should consider praising the Coach from time to time whenever he does something good. I hold out very little hope that they will follow my advice because, let’s face it, it requires far less maturity, intellect, and judgement to simply rant and rave about something than it does to construct and proffer a factually balanced and reasoned thought. Oh well… .

Re the HBO Lakers Series
Although mildly entertaining at times, it is mostly an outlandish, oversized joke, with every character made into a comical, over the top version of themselves. If anyone has a right to be mad, it would be Pat Riley, who was introduced into the series as a cloddish, out of work former jock with little or no self esteem/confidence. I found it hard to get past that (as well as the portrayal of NBA great Jerry West as a drunk with severe anger management issues and a poor eye for basketball talent.) Bottom line, if you are expecting reality, you will be sorely disappointed. If you want some laughs built around basketball, it’s sometimes fun.
Now, back to Oscar being back!!!: smile:

He likely needs
a step down in competition and a corresponding step up in confidence. Hard to understand how big of a miss he ended up being for both Kentucky and Texas. Hope he finds a home where he can eventually thrive.

Did I miss something
re Brooks? I thought he was just testing the waters and considered by most as likely to return.
