Jets-Bengals 2013, Week 8 preview: Uffsides

Wait, is this REALLY the best matchup of Week 8? Geno Smith and the Jets visit the Bengals, who are 5-2 behind a hot streak from Andy Dalton. That really doesn't sound like the best game of the week, unless you only enjoy stout defensive line play. The Uffsides crew preview the game and make their picks against the spread.

The best matchup in Week 8 is ... Jets-Bengals? Going by record, apparently. Both teams sport impressive defensive fronts that occasionally receive some support from the offense whenever Geno Smith and Andy Dalton feel like stepping up.

With a low-scoring affair on tap, the Bengals could have a tough time putting up enough points to cover a 6.5-point line.
